Best rugged/waterproof digital camera for wide angle?

Hello,
I'm in the market for a ruggedized/waterproof compact digital camera. One of the key features that is important to me, out side of picture quality, is the wide angle aspect of the lens. I am hoping to use it for mountain range shots and things of that nature. Thanks for your help.

As an independent digital filmmaker, I had not yet had the opportunity to do an underwater shoot until I had the opportunity to review the Kodak PlaySport Zx3. I had to really wrestle with the grade on this one because the video camera is far from perfect, but also possessed unique assets - namely the underwater capabilities, ease of use, price and fun factor.
