I bought this camera new and had it less than a month, water got into the LCD screen and flash. I am now camrea less for the summer due to the long wait of camera repairs. Not happy with this camera or the service from the store I bought it.
I hope you have better luck with this camera.

the only thing i don’t like about this camera is that it uses AA batteries should use rechargeable battery to be perfect.

Yes, you’re right ! $99 includes 720P HD video, 14megapixels photo, 5x optical zoom, panoramic photo, so yes! it should have been rated “8.5″ instead of “6″. But, I still don’t like picture quality of this AX250 as I mentioned before.

Hi, thank you for this video BTW. Did you consider the price of $99 in your rating of “6″? Or is that just for the features alone? I think the rating could be higher because of the low cost, or am I deluding myself? Or does the cost matter in ratings?

I just purchased this camera too.. yes at walmart! (god bless them!) anyways its a great deal and seems like a product with advanced features.
I have simple usage. basic snaps.. not much action shots and I maybe few videos of my cat running in the park.. nothing too fancy. hehe.. can’t wait for delivery! I’m hoping this camera will be a good buy!! What do you think? anyone?

this is a hell of a deal $99 for a 14mp 5x optical zoom 720p hd movie 4gb sd card case !!!, ima buy this with the money i get back from the walmart product service plan..i had a shitty 10mp..3x zoom no hd video and no sd card camera…and it cost $3 more lol, my one prob with this is no rechargeable battery
still a good deal though

OK, this is what I can give you an idea how long AA battery last.
I used 4 sets of AA completely.( Total 8x AA battery ) For…….
I recorded about 55minutes of 720p HD video.
I took about 60 photos(14megapixels).
Also, I deleted many pictures and videos.
So, it could be a lot more videos and photos. I don’t remember how many I deleted.

I just recieved this camera for my wife. I checked it out and it’s not bad for the price…Alot of nice features and super shots this camera takes and nice videos also. So far me and my wife love it. I just ordered A/V cables so we can play the videos and see pics threw my lcd tv.It did not come with rechargable AA batteries but it’s ok because my wife had some already and i rather have the option to use regular or rechargable batteries anyway just incase i forget to charge them.

Well, I would say… 6. I love to capture HD video with this Fuji AX250. It’s pretty good quality. But, taking photos with this Fuji AX250 is so so even if it’s got 14megapixels and SR auto mode. Overall, I recommend this FujiAX250 because there is no camera got the most advanced features for only $99.
