   This is a great camara for the price. The pictures look great, not only in the computer or when I print them at home. They look just super when I reproduce them at the photoshop or supercenter. And it looks real great. People ask me for the camara when they see it or see the pictures. It’s like a professional camara that you don’t have to do nothing but shoot the picture. The battery life is very good too.

   First off, let me say that I own five Point and Shoot cameras. This camera is good simply because it isn’t bad. In many P & S cameras there are so many things set by the camera software the user can’t make important manual adjustments. Not the case here. For example, I shoot in Program mode and I select the ISO and the exposure compensation. Many P&S cameras don’t have a P mode. The monitor is plenty big. There are plenty of megapixels. The buttons stand out enough to be easy to push. The picture quality is good. The camera looks good and feels solid and well made. I really like a viewfinder even on a P&S camera and this Olympus doesn’t have one, so I give the camera 4 stars rather than 5 stars. But there is nothing wrong with this camera.

   I was not happy about this product, but I think mine was defective and I returned it. The pictures were terrible in normal room light they look extremely blurry like the simulated drinking driving public service announcement on TV. Outside pictures were blurry too, but much better than normal room light. I have a nine year old Olympus 3.7 MP camera that out performs this new 14MP Olympus, but again I think mine was defective.

   This is a great value. It is a good little camera for the money. It is handy and takes good pictures inside and out. My only issue is with the seller, who said that they were sending a black camera. This was what was ordered, but not what was sent. A silver camera was sent. This is not a big deal, I’m not especially fussy about the color. I am fussy about factual truth, so find the seller’s bogus claim that they sent what was ordered to be annoying.

   While I have some issues with this product, I’m fairly certain that I am the one at fault; my biggest issue has been blurry pictures of “still life.” My hand may just be shaking, though.

   In all, the camera is good for the unadvanced like myself who just wish to take photos. There are a plethora of settings that are fun to play around with, and the pictures generally come out with great quality. The price is certainly good for what you get.

   The camera is small enough to tote around and easy enough to use for those spontaneous, spur of the moment photographs!
