I have Olympus SP550UZ for over 2 years now.And i can tell its great.
yes its have few minuses ,but damn throw rock at me if you have perfect camare who do not have any minuses.

it`s more important to have more zoom than megapixels, you`ll see, some profesional cameras has less megapixels (e.g EOS-350d) and they are just amazing! i will recomend you the sp-560, it`s an improve of this great camera (cost is almost the same) i bought one! and i`m in love with it!

i like this camera but it only has 7.1 megapixels and it has a great optical zoom . the fujifilm s100fd has 10 megapixels but a low 12 optical zoom which one is better more optical zoom or more megapixels ??? answer plz and thx u!

I have a 510-UZ. Problem with these cameras is that at higher ISO’s (above 200) the pictures get way too grainy. It’s a shame, as otherwise, this range of Olympus cameras are good.

I’ve had it over a year now (christmas) and just yesterday the built in flash light doesn’t work . I’ve changed the settings and set it back to AUTO and it won’ t flash in the dark.

i bought this in silver for my birthday presenter. i spend time buying it from argos looking at all the cameras. this is one of the best simplied cameras i have ever seen, shockingly simple, all the leads you need, the best camera ive had for years. The one thing to watch if your buying from a catalogie none of the descriptions ( got mine from argoe) say they have flash, even though they are
