Panasonic SW20 Digital Camcorder
Panasonic's SDR-SW20 compact SD camcorder is built tough so you can shoot in places never before possible. Take it underwater as deep as 5 feet1 for great video in the pool or ocean. Waterproofing also means you can shoot in the rain or snow with no worries. The SW20 is also shockproof, resisting damage even if dropped from a height of up to 4 feet2 with improved fortification inside and out. A dustproof3 design keeps the camcorder safe even if handled with dirty hands or used in a place with swirling dust. Take it to the beach or sports field without worrying about sand. And since it's waterproof, simply wash it with water when it gets dirty.

Photokina 2010 Day 3: Medium-Format's Last Stand?; Photo Odds & Ends; Live Nude Girls; Leaving Cologne
When they look back at photokina 2010 will they see it as medium-format photography's last stand or its Waterloo? A lot has happened since photokina 2008 when Leica released its game-changing medium-format/DSLR hybrid, the 37.5MP S2 . Suprisingly though, no medium-format camera manufacturer has stepped up to the plate to challenge the Leica S2's innovative, tough and ergonomic design.

Question by R-MO: My panasonic digital camera (fx7) makes sc cards write pritected. Is that common?
This is my secound sd card which became write protected itself, I think it busted. Does this came from my Panasonic digital camera FX series?

Your SD card comes with a sliding switch on the edge that locks or unlocks your card. It's easy enough to accidently slide it into the locked position.
Hope that helps.

WARNING: Beware opening battery door in humid atmosphere! Moisture will enter, allowing condensation inside lens space. Ruined my best shots taken in Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. *There is no advice in User Manual on humidity access via openings. Took a few secs to swap batteries. No wet fingers, just moist air. If known would have used silica gels in a sealed bag. Indicator test showed no water got inside. Camera a week old. Panasonic rejects that cam is not fit for purpose. Mike O’R Australia.
